CHARACTER SCULPTING MENTORSHIP WITH MICHAEL DEFEO
Learn and grow as an artist under the personal guidance of master sculptor artist Michael Defeo. This is a private mentorship that will meet weekly online for 4 sessions. Each session will be one-on-one private meeting with the instructor.
This is a great opportunity for artists of all levels. Before the start of the mentorship, you will be expected to fill out a questionaire and provide 4 portfolio pieces that will help your mentor establish what level you are at and the best way to help you meet your goals.
Space is limited to 10 seats.

Michael Defeo is a sculptor whose specialty lies in translating 2-D character designs into fully-fledged 3-D models. He hand-built the modeling and sculpting studios at Blue Sky Studios and served as the head of each for 15 years. While at Blue Sky, Michael brought countless characters to life for ICE AGE series (1-4) ROBOTS, HORTON HEARS A WHO, RIO, and Epic.
Michael has also worked with Illumination Entertainment, helping to create characters for DESPICABLE ME 2 and THE LORAX, and THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS.
Michael is also a seasoned ZBrush instructor, teaching at schools such as the Fashion Institute of Technology, Schoolism and Mold3D Academy.
