How does the online class work?
Depending on the length of the course you enrolled in, the online education classes consist of the following 3 components which will be accessible through the online classroom. For all enrolled students, user access & instructions to the online classroom will be given one week prior to the first day of class. Students will continue to have access to the instructional videos after the final live class date for 12 additional months.
What happens if I miss the live Question and Answer session?
If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, please use our Q&A form located on your Q&A page or email your instructor directly and include any questions you have. Since all live sessions will be recorded, students will be able to access the recorded hangout session video in the virtual classroom.
Is Mold3D Academy an approved CSATTF Grant tuition reimbursement program?

Do you offer Payment Plans for online classes?
Yes, we do have installment payment plans available for instructed classes We don't currently offer payment plan options for the self-paced or mentorship. Please review the "Payment Options" under the Online Class Details section for the options that are available for each class.
Does Mold3D Academy offer studio or company discounts?
Yes! We do offer preferential rates for most of our classes. To learn more, please fill out the Inquiry Form or email info@mold3dacademy.com.
Is there going to be another live workshop?
There are currently plans to produce additional 3D printing workshops. Sign up to our newsletter for future updates and news.
What software do I need for the online classes?
It will vary depending on the type of class you enroll in. Please check individual class details for information regarding specific requirements.
Do I need to own a 3D printer in order to take the 3D Printing for ZBrush Artists class?
No, you don't need to own a 3D printer for any of our classes. Instructors will be teaching techniques that are applicable to 3D printing even if you don't own a printer. Students will also learn how to take advantage of existing 3D printing services and bureaus.
Do I need to submit a portfolio to enroll?
You do not need to submit a portfolio to enroll in most of the online classes at Mold3D Academy. Please refer to the course details in each of the class descriptions which includes “Skill Level” to ensure you are prepared to achieve your artistic goals.
Technical information & system requirements:
For all online classes, students will need to have a high-speed internet connection. It is also suggested to have a headset mic and webcam if to participate in the weekly live Q&A sessions.

Students will continue to have access to the instructional videos after the final live class date for 12 additional months.
- 8 Weekly on-demand video lecture(s) that will be released on Sundays. In this video lesson, your instructor will provide 1-2 hours of instruction that you can watch as many times as you want throughout the duration of the class. Once your class has ended, students will have access to the instructional videos for 6 months.
- 8 Weekly homework assignments with personal video homework feedback. All weekly on demand video lectures will include a homework assignment. Each homework assignment is due the following Sunday. Students that turn in the homework assignment on time will receive personalized video homework feedback from their instructor before their scheduled Question and Answer Sessions.
- 8 Weekly 1 hour live Question and Answer sessions with your instructor and class. Students will be able to interact with each other, as questions and watch demos during the scheduled time. All sessions are recorded live, so if a student misses their scheduled time, the recorded version will be streamed after the live session has ended.
